Spain is the best retirement country!

A study shows that more and more people are retiring abroad. What are the best choices? real estate companies in qatar

Not only are we experiencing the youngest brain drain; the over 65s, once retired, also like living abroad. But which countries are the best to move to?

1. Spain: Spain

Spain is the best European country to move for retirees, according to a study by the Blacktower Financial Management Group. And to tell the truth, many have already moved to the Iberian Peninsula [include your nationality here]. Although the Canary Islands are one of the most popular destinations, to be more precise.

In fact, as the report states, thanks to "numerous large cities and coastal resorts attracting millions of pensioners, Spain has this special ranking. The good weather, food and friendly locals also make Spain the perfect destination in the golden years for those who want to relax."

The results contained in the report were based on weighted cost of living measurements, crime rates, life expectancy, property prices and population age.

2. Finland Finland

That may be somewhat surprising: Finland is ranked second in the list of the best retirement countries. The efficiency of services and the magic of the landscapes are certainly added values, but they are counterbalanced by the long periods of the year by the cold weather.

3. Italy Italy

We find Italy in third place, 3.48 vs. 3.58 in Spain and 3.52 in Finland. The Bel Paese is also the highest average nation (23.3 percent of the population is over 65).

Slovenia 4.

Slovenia is fourth with a score of 3.43, due also to the lowest cost of living in the top 10 countries (although the housing prices are not among the most affordable).

5. The Holland

With 3.37 points, the Netherlands is fifth, followed closely by Portugal, an increasingly preferred destination for international pensioners.
